Vanija Verma is a registered Patent Agent holding a master’s degree in Biotechnology and Post graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law (PGDIPRL) from National Law School, Bangalore with over 7 years of experience in the field of IP.  Prior to entering the field of IP, she worked in Research and Development department in top pharmaceutical companies in India.

She has experience in conducting prior art searches and Freedom to Operate (FTO) analyses, drafting of patent applications, drafting responses for First Examination Reports (FERs) and attending hearings during patent prosecution.

She works across diverse domains including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
