Experience: 20 years in IP and 9 years in Pharma Formulation R&D

Pranita holds a Master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (M.PHARM. in Pharmaceutics), Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) and a PG Diploma in Patent Law and Management and a Registered Patent Agent.

She mainly deals with Patent Drafting, Attending Hearings and Prosecution in the Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical field.

She has managed a wide gamut of activities in the Pharma Industry in many Pharma companies for over 9 years in Formulation Research &Development and thereafter about 20 years in Intellectual Property (IP) -Patents field.

In the field of IP, she has set up Patent cell by incorporating IP systems and documentation. She has also been involved in Portfolio management activities, Patent search and drafting and vetting of Agreements.

At GNANLex she handles Patent Drafting and Prosecution involving Drafting of Patent applications, Patent Searches and Prior art analysis, Responding the Office Actions, First Examination Reports, Hearing Notices of Patent applications. She also attends Hearings and client correspondence.

Her experience in R&D was in the development, management and Technology transfer of Products for Domestic as well as export market, SOP and Protocol implementation, documentation and GAP Analysis, guiding the R&D scientists in formulation development activities and inputs and Training personnel regarding department systems and procedures and on the R&D floor.
